Pharmacological Class

Amino acid, electrolyte, vitamin, and energy infusion solution


Indications

VETALYTE® Infusion is indicated for fluid, electrolyte, and nutritional support in animals suffering from:

  • Dehydration and electrolyte imbalance

  • Anorexia or reduced feed intake

  • Weakness, stress, and exhaustion

  • Convalescence following disease, surgery, or transport

  • Metabolic disturbances

  • Supportive therapy in infectious and parasitic diseases

  • Recovery from diarrhea, fever, or toxemia

VETALYTE® provides rapid rehydration, metabolic support, and improved energy balance.


Dosage and Administration

  • Intravenous (slow IV infusion)

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any component

  • Animals with severe cardiac or renal failure without veterinary supervision


Precautions

  • For veterinary use only

  • Use under veterinary supervision

  • Administer IV slowly to avoid circulatory overload

  • Use aseptic technique

  • Do not mix with other products in the same bottle

  • Use immediately after opening; do not reuse partially used bottles

  • Keep out of reach of children


Withdrawal Period

  • Meat: Nil

  • Milk: Nil


Storage

  • Store below 30°C

  • Protect from direct sunlight

  • Do not freeze

  • Keep container tightly closed
