Composition
Each ml contains:
Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride ............... 10 mg
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) ........................ 50 mg
Excipients ...................................................... q.s. to 1 ml
Pharmacological Class
Antihistamine (H₁-receptor antagonist) with antioxidant support
Indications
HISTOBAN® Injection is indicated for the treatment and control of allergic and hypersensitivity reactions in animals, including:
Acute allergic reactions and urticaria
Drug and vaccine reactions
Insect bites and stings
Pruritus and allergic dermatitis
Edema and tissue swelling
Supportive treatment in anaphylactic reactions (adjunct therapy)
Reduction of histamine-mediated effects in inflammatory conditions
Diphenhydramine provides rapid antihistaminic and anti-pruritic action, while Vitamin C supports capillary stability and antioxidant defense.
Dosage and Administration
Routes: Intramuscular (IM) or Slow Intravenous (IV)
Recommended dosage:
Cattle, Camels, Horses:
0.5–1 ml per 10 kg body weight
Once daily or as requiredSheep & Goats:
0.5–1 ml per animal
Once daily or as requiredDogs & Cats:
0.2–0.5 ml per animal
Once daily or as directed by the veterinarian
Dosage may be repeated according to the severity of the allergic reaction and veterinary judgment.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine or any component
Use with caution in animals with glaucoma or severe cardiovascular disease
Precautions
For veterinary use only
Use under veterinary supervision
Administer IV injections slowly
May cause mild sedation in some animals
Do not mix with other injectable products in the same syringe
Keep out of reach of children
Withdrawal Period
