Composition

Each ml contains:

  • Eprinomectin ................................................ 20 mg

  • Excipients ........................................................ q.s. to 1 ml


Pharmacological Class

Endectocide – Macrocyclic lactone (Avermectin group)


Indications

EPRINIX® Injection is indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in animals caused by eprinomectin-sensitive organisms, including:

Gastrointestinal nematodes

  • Haemonchus spp.

  • Ostertagia spp.

  • Trichostrongylus spp.

  • Cooperia spp.

  • Bunostomum spp.

  • Oesophagostomum spp.

Lungworms

  • Dictyocaulus spp.

External parasites

  • Sucking lice

  • Mange mites

  • Other eprinomectin-sensitive ectoparasites

EPRINIX® provides broad-spectrum parasite control with prolonged activity.


Dosage and Administration

Route: Subcutaneous (SC) injection

Recommended dosage:

  • 0.2 mg eprinomectin per kg body weight, equivalent to:
    1 ml per 100 kg body weight

Administration:

  • Administer as a single dose

  • Inject subcutaneously in the neck or shoulder region

  • Repeat treatment according to parasite challenge and veterinary advice


Target Species

Cattle, sheep, goats, and camels
(Use in other species only under veterinary supervision)


Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to eprinomectin or other macrocyclic lactones

  • Do not use in animals intended for human consumption unless approved by local regulations


Precautions

  • For veterinary use only

  • Use only under veterinary supervision

  • Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly

  • Observe proper injection technique

  • Avoid overdosing

  • Keep away from children


Withdrawal Period

(May vary according to national regulations)

  • Meat: As per local regulatory approval

  • Milk: Often nil withdrawal in approved species (confirm per registration authority)


Storage

  • Store below 30°C

  • Protect from light

  • Do not freeze

  • Keep container tightly closed
