Pharmacological Class

Amino acids, vitamins, and electrolyte infusion solution

Indications

AMINOVETA® LIGHT is indicated for correction of amino acid, vitamin, and electrolyte deficiencies and as supportive therapy in animals suffering from:

• Stress, weakness, and poor condition

• Poor growth and low performance

• Recovery after disease, infection, or surgery

• Dehydration, malnutrition, and convalescence

• Anorexia or poor feed intake

• Liver and muscle metabolism support

• General supportive therapy in debilitated animals

Dosage and Administration

Routes of administration:

• Intravenous (slow IV infusion)

• Subcutaneous (SC)

• Intramuscular (IM)

• Intraperitoneal (IP)

Recommended dosage:

Dosage may be adjusted according to severity and veterinary judgment.

Target Species

Cattle, buffaloes, horses, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to any component

• Do not use in animals with severe circulatory overload without veterinary supervision

Precautions

• For veterinary use only

• Use only under supervision of a veterinarian

• Ensure aseptic technique during administration

• Avoid rapid injection to prevent circulatory distress

• Do not mix with other products in the same syringe or bottle

• Use immediately after opening; do not reuse partially used bottles

• Keep out of reach of children

Withdrawal Period

• Meat: Nil

• Milk: Nil

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight

• Store at 15–30°C

• Shake well before use
